Summary

Dr. Amie Verescuk completed her Doctor of Psychology (Clinical, Sport and Exercise) at ISN. Her doctoral research explored exercise addiction and body dysmorphic disorder, including examining gender differences in exercise addiction prevalence, developing a new screening scale for exercise addiction, and exploring stigma surrounding body dysmorphic disorder.

 

In addition to her academic role, Amie currently works in private practice where she has a particular interest in neurodiversity and psychological assessment, including comprehensive assessments for attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She also has a background in sport and exercise psychology, with experience working with athletes and within sporting contexts.
