Bridging Course (2 Year Program)
If you have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and wish to learn more about human behaviour or make a career change into psychology.
Gain an equivalent of four years of an undergrad program of Psychology in just two years. This degree is the equivalent of a 4 year undergraduate study pathway in Psychology.
The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is an AQF level 8 qualification and the 4th year or honours year of a psychology qualification. Prospective students are invited to apply for the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours).
The Master of Professional Psychology provides your fifth year sequence in psychology. Graduates of the Master of Professional Psychology (having completed their 5th year of the 5+1 pathway) must complete an additional one year of approved supervised professional practice (internship) and then pass the national psychology exam to obtain full general registration as a psychologist with AHPRA. This course is the 5th year of the 5+1 pathway to registration.
The Master of Psychology (Clinical) prepares students for professional practice and to enter into a registrar program towards endorement as a clinical psychologist.
The Master of Psychology (Sport & Exercise) is designed to prepare students for professional practice as Sport and Exercise psychologists. Graduates would be eligible to enter the PsyBA registrar program to pursue endorsement as Sport and Exercise Psychology Psychologists.
The Doctor of Psychology (Sport & Exercise, Clinical) is designed to prepare students for professional practice as both Sport and Exercise and Clinical Psychologists. Graduates would be eligible to enter the PsyBA registrar program to pursue area of practice endorsements as Clinical and/or Sport and Exercise Psychologists.
