If you have completed a degree in any discipline and wish to learn more about human behaviour or make a career change into psychology, ISN Psychology’s Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies is the right choice for you.

The APAC approved Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies is a 2 year course bridging 4 years of psychology that consist of:

  1. Year 1 – eight units equivalent to core units in a psychology undergraduate sequence; and

  2. Year 2 – six units equivalent to core units in an honours psychology sequence. 

 

This unique two year offering is ideal for those considering fast tracking a career path transition into psychology.

Students graduating with a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies would be eligible to apply for our Master of Psychology (Clinical) or other postgraduate psychology offering.

​

The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies is a higher level (AQF level 8) qualification  intended as a bridge for students holding a qualification in another discipline.  It is offered at ISN Psychology’s Ivanhoe campus in Melbourne, Victoria.  Face to face or live online allow flexibility of delivery options. 

​

Students will explore areas of psychology such as personality, perception, cognition, learning, motivation, abnormal psychology and developmental psychology. Students will gain knowledge about human behaviour and how this can be applied to various industries and everyday life. ISN Psychology provides a comprehensive understanding of Human Nature like never before.

Entry Requirements

To apply for a position in the Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies, prospective students must
demonstrate that they:

  • Meet criteria as a domestic student, and

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline

  • Overseas qualifications are translated into English and deemed equivalent to Australian qualifications by the Australian Education International – National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (AEI-NOOSR)

ISN Psychology is a FEE HELP approved provider. Tuiton fees are payable upfront or through FEE HELP for eligible students.

Upon acceptance of the offer (or prior to the beginning of the enrolment period for enrolled students undertaking a course degree sequence), students will be required to indicate any prior learning to be considered as credit towards the degree and whether the student wishes to apply for any disability assistance. Credit will be determined based on a a pro-rata basis with 100 credit points equivalent to 1 full year of tuition fees.

Based on the information provided in the acceptance, enrolment forms will be issued where students will be able to verify enrolled course degree units and the cost of units will be outlined together with payment options. Students will have unto census date to withdraw from units enrolled before incurring any fees.

Students can pay up-front for their fees, or apply for FEE-HELP. FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme that assists eligible fee paying students to pay all or part of their tuition fees. See: http://studyassist.gov.au.
