From 2022, both ‘live online’ and ‘face to face’ onsite teaching options will be available at ISN Psychology – utilising the latest technologies and its extensive facilities to provide a rich learning experience with lifestyle flexibility.

ISN Psychology provides an integrated course schedule of learning through exploration, scrutiny, and self-reflection. In class, our academics emphasize the strategies and processes involved in learning and self-growth, creating a unique opportunity to prepare our students to live intelligent, thoughtful, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society.  

 

All ISN Psychology courses are accredited by APAC.  APAC accreditation means degrees are recognised by AHPRA.  Further information about APAC accreditation can be found here.

Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies

The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Studies is a higher level (AQF level 8) qualification  intended as a bridge for students holding a qualification in another discipline.

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons)

The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is an AQF level 8  qualification and the 4th year or honours year of a psychology qualification. 

Master of Professional Psychology

The Master of Professional Psychology provides your fifth year sequence in psychology.  Course work in this one year full time program consists of course work, practical placement and research components.

Master of Psychology (Clinical)

The course consists of course work, practical placement, and research components. Course work in the first year of the program will provide students with the ground work and practice skills needed to commence their first placement typically at our affiliated ISN Clinic. The second year of the program has a strong focus on integration of clinical skills through additional placements and advanced course units. Students will complete a clinically significant research report.

Master of Psychology (Sport and Exercise)

The Master of Psychology (Sport and Exercise) provides skills and knowledge centred around understanding psychological factors that contribute to peak performance and wellbeing. 

Doctor of Psychology (Sport & Exercise, Clinical)

The Doctor of Psychology (Sport & Exercise, Clinical) provides skills and knowledge centred around understanding psychological factors that contribute to peak performance, wellbeing, and mental health. These factors are explored through assessment, theory and practice of psychological skills for performance, sport medicine, rehabilitation, psychopathology, child and adult psychological disorders, and methods to treat mental illness.

Academic Record

The Academic Record (also known as an Academic Statement) is an unofficial transcript of your units and grades achieved along with your degree. It is available to current students.

Upon completing your course and graduating students will receive the following documents:

Academic Transcript

​

The academic transcript is an official academic record of your studies at ISN.

​

Testamur

​

The Testamur (parchment) is an official graduation certificate given to students upon graduation to confirm the completion of their degree at ISN.

​

Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)

​

AHEGS is a graduation document that describes the award, the awarding institution and the Australian higher education system. It is a detailed document for potential employers and other institutions to gain insight into a graduate’s achievements at ISN.

​

For those students who do not complete their degree, but have completed some of the accredited units for that degree, a statement of attainment can be obtained:

Statement of attainment

​

The statement of attainment is a document that provides the student with an authorised record of the accredited units that they have completed. An academic record is also provided.
