Summary
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Catherine has honed her clinical skills, particularly in trauma, across diverse roles and organisations both private and public. Trained prior to the Medicare system, Catherine joined ISN Clinic during COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 as the first Clinic Director for ISN Clinics. The first site was in Bundoora. Witnessing ISNs growth and development, Catherine supervised one of the first largest MClin student cohorts for the institution and was involved in the rollout of the MPP program. Catherine also provides support to placement students from other programs. She contributes to national placement and clinic associations, internal working groups including the AI working group. Catherine acts the Clinical Placement Director, and she is extremely passionate about training, developing and exploring innovative ways to train future psychologists. Immersing herself in this dynamic environment has deepened her appreciation for research and sparked an interest in pursuing her PhD particularly in understanding the intersection of psychology and sports.
