Academic transcripts & statements

-
Academic Transcript
The academic transcript is an official academic record of your studies at ISN. -
Testamur
The Testamur (parchment) is an official graduation certificate given to students upon graduation to confirm the completion of their degree at ISN. -
Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
AHEGS is a graduation document that describes the award, the awarding institution and the Australian higher education system. It is a detailed document for potential employers and other institutions to gain insight into a graduate’s achievements at ISN.
YOUR CERTIFICATE SECURITY:
WATERMARKED PAPER
The paper used to produce the ISN Certificates is 120gsm Hague G, this is the most popular security paper across many local and international universities / RTO’s / Financial institutions etc.
The company says…
In our fight against certificate fraud we developed this bespoke paper known as “Hague g” hence the repetitive ‘g’s in the background. This watermark paper has become one of the most prevalent ways to keep our papers authentic and secure.
Conferral
Conferral of Awards and Graduation
Following the completion of studies and confirmation of grades/approval by the Academic Board, conferral of awards will be by the College Council.
At ISN, the formal Graduation Ceremony is held annually, generally in late February or early March.
Out-of-cycle Conferral
Students may, however, complete their studies at various times throughout the year and may request for their award to be conferred at the earliest possible opportunity, rather than waiting for the annual ceremony. Conferrals may occur following the submission and approval of results at the next available Academic Board meeting after the student qualifies. These meetings are held quarterly in February, May, September, and November.
Once confirmation has been received that all program requirements have been met and the Academic Board has approved completion, the student’s degree will be officially conferred, and the testamur issued.
Students who elect for an out-of-cycle conferral may still attend the next Graduation Ceremony to have their achievement formally acknowledged, however, the award will not be presented at the ceremony, as it has already been conferred.
Students who have completed their studies and wish to have their award conferred at an upcoming Academic Board meeting (prior to the Graduation Ceremony) must submit their request in writing to the Chief Registrar (registrar@isn.edu.au) and copy the Admissions Team (admissions@isn.edu.au).
